About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Short Breaks Review Team in the Children & Young People with Disability Service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with children and young people with disabilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our service users, their families, and caregivers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing reviews of care packages, developing creative support plans, and ensuring that the voice of the child is at the centre of all planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing reviews of care packages and developing holistic support plans
  • Working closely with colleagues and multi-agency partners to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Liaising with partners within and outside the council to ensure efficient and effective service provision
  • Writing high-quality reports for presentation to senior managers

Competitive salary: £39,951 - £46,041, plus £2,500 retention allowance, generous pension and relocation package, annual leave up to 27 days, and excellent opportunities for career progression.
