Child Protection Specialist

Austin Fraser is currently seeking a highly skilled Child Protection Specialist to join their team in London.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Social Work or a related field and be registered with Social Work England. Experience in social work, preferably in child protection and care, is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake high-quality assessments within statutory timescales, addressing presenting concerns and unmet needs.
- Liaise with other Council Divisions, Health, Education, Police, and voluntary sector providers to ensure efficient service provision.
- Work within London Child Protection Procedures to undertake key work responsibilities for children at risk.
- Assess, advise, and support Children and Families in need, addressing unmet need and preventing statutory intervention.
- Execute statutory duties to children in care, promoting timely permanency planning under the Adoption Act 2002.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or related field.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in social work, preferably in child protection and care.
Estimated Salary: £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
