About the Role

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Diagnostic Neuroradiologist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will contribute to the provision of a high-quality, consultant-led diagnostic neuroradiology imaging service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the 24/7 cover of the service, including on-call duties on a rota basis.
  • Develop specialist skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and support regional tertiary services.
  • Provide clinical supervision and professional management of radiology trainees.
  • Some duties may be provided by offsite working.

Requirements

  • Full GMC Registration.
  • Completed general training in Radiology and Diagnostic Neuroradiology at specialist level in a recognised centre.
  • Experience and skills in a subspecialist area of neuroradiology and willingness to develop these aspects further.
  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and training.
  • Understanding of and willingness to participate in clinical governance and audit activities.
