We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Deputy Head Academic at West Buckland School. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented educational leader to join our team and contribute to the development of our academic community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of our academic curriculum, ensuring that it aligns with the school's vision and values. They will work closely with the Headmaster and other members of the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote academic excellence.

As Deputy Head Academic, you will have a significant impact on the education and well-being of our students. You will be expected to lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for teaching and learning.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Led the development and implementation of the academic curriculum
  • Maintained high standards of academic achievement across all subjects
  • Provided leadership and support to teachers and staff

  • Managed budgets and resources to achieve academic goals

**Required Qualifications and Experience:**

  • Master's degree in Education or related field

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

**Salary:** £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
