**Job Title:** Learning Support Assistant

**Location:** Wellingborough, NN8

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting young people who face barriers to learning.

**About the Role:**

  • This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 4pm.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support students with challenging behaviour, engagement, and attendance.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Assist with identifying pupils in need of support.
  • Conduct one-to-one mentoring sessions with identified pupils.
  • Develop strategies for pupils to better manage their behaviour.
  • Liaise with SENCos.
  • Keep track of pupil progress and monitor behaviour.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum GCSEs in English and Maths (or childcare qualification).
  • Basic IT skills (you'll be recording and updating data).

**Estimated Salary:** £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
