About the Position

We are seeking a History Teacher who embodies the qualities of an outstanding educator: enthusiasm, dedication, and a commitment to student success. Your role will involve designing and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall academic atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Create and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Classroom Management: Establish a well-organized and respectful classroom environment that fosters active learning.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust instruction accordingly.
Requirements
  • A recognized teaching certification, preferably QTS or equivalent.
  • Relevant degree and specialization in History or a related field.
  • Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Salary

The salary for this History Teacher position is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, paid on a permanent contract following the Main Pay Scale (MPS)/Upper Pay Scale (UPS) within the National Pay Scale.
