Academics is seeking an experienced Educational Support Professional to join our team in a Primary School setting located in High Wycombe. This role involves leading classroom learning experiences and developing children's skills in their academic growth.

This position requires the ability to teach and cover classes in teacher's absences, using provided planning to continue students' learning without disruption. If you have a passion for teaching children and supporting their academic development, we encourage you to apply.

  • The salary range for this role is £28,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • This is a long-term and permanent contract opportunity.
  • The ideal candidate will be working in mainstream settings with primary school aged pupils.

As a key member of our team, you will support pupils across the school, participating in extracurricular activities outside the classroom. Your skills and experience will be utilized to support the learning and development of each pupil, ensuring they are encouraged, supported, and managed effectively to meet their needs.

Requirements
  • A passion for working with children and a strong educational background.
  • Confidence in teaching and covering classes.
  • Desired qualifications include HLTA status or previous teaching assistance experience.
  • The ability to assess pupil progress and develop professional relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
