**About the Role**

We are looking for a skilled Communications Officer to join our team at Dumfries and Galloway Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a communication strategy that meets the objectives of the Local Employability and Skills Partnership (DGLEP).

This is a fixed-term position, lasting up to 1 year, and may be suitable for secondment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a high level of education, and experience in planning and delivering communications campaigns.

The salary for this position is £12,962 per annum, and it is essential to note that a current driving licence is required. However, consideration may be given if alternative transport arrangements can be made.
