Senior Transport Officer

A leading opportunity to develop, plan and deliver transport solutions for Schools and Communities in Dumfries & Galloway.

This role involves:

  • Leading a multi-skilled team of Transport Officers working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring students travel safely to their education establishment.
  • Providing a safe and reliable public bus service to communities throughout Dumfries and Galloway.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • SVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Supervisory experience in people management and managing performance.
  • Extensive contract management experience.

Key Requirements:

  • Current driving licence (or alternative transport arrangement).

Salary: £37,596 - £40,356 per annum.
