About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our multi-disciplinary team at Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and act as Care Programme Coordinator (CPA) for individuals with complex mental health problems.
  • Undertake assessments and provide structured therapeutic interventions to support recovery, working within a trauma-informed framework.
  • Develop and implement treatment programs and interventions for complex individuals, including those with personality disorders and autism spectrum disorder.
  • Work collaboratively with the mental health team to deliver a comprehensive and safe mental health service within the prison setting.
  • Act as a professional role-model, promoting dignity, respect, care, and compassion in all interactions.
  • Stay up-to-date with wider issues affecting future professional practice in mental health and communicate this to the team.

Person Specification
  • Achieved grades or relevant NMC qualification.
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs.
  • Desirable: prison experience, 2 years post-graduation, knowledge of system 1.
