Construction Trades Lecturer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Construction Trades Lecturer to join our 14-16 Alternative Provision at Bradford College. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to our vision of transforming lives through education and training.
Key Responsibilities- Teach on Construction trade courses specified by the Curriculum Team Leader, Curriculum Area manager or the Head of Department for 14-16 within the college.
- Participate actively in the development of the curriculum and contribute to the creation of a positive working and study environment.
- Enrol, monitor, and assess students on college courses, devising individual learning plans to drive their progress and meet their targets.
- Provide pastoral care and support to students, promoting their wellbeing and positive behaviour throughout their learning journey.
- Seek out and respond to the student voice, ensuring that students are primary stakeholders in their learning.
- Supervise and manage students on placements and offsite visits, implementing and promoting College regulations, policies, and procedures.
- GCSE A*- C or nationally recognised level 2 qualification in Maths or equivalent.
- GCSE A*- C or nationally recognised level 2 qualification in English or equivalent.
- Relevant Teaching Qualification (Cert Ed/PSET).
- A Level 3 qualification in a related area.
- Experience of successful teaching/training and evidence of performance/data to support it.
- Experience of high-quality teaching within a school/FE environment or equivalent related industrial experience.
