Emergency Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working autonomously to assess, examine, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with undifferentiated and un-diagnosed injuries/illnesses.
You will be expected to demonstrate a strong ability to adapt and sustain pressure in a challenging and fast-changing environment, with a focus on delivering excellent patient outcomes and experiences. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the highest standards of care are provided to all patients, and you will be responsible for clinical supervision and education of junior staff.

About the Role- Provide high-quality patient care, working autonomously to assess, examine, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with undifferentiated and un-diagnosed injuries/illnesses.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
- Provide clinical supervision and education to junior staff, promoting professional development and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- NMC Registered Nurse
- ILS
- Up to date mandatory training
- Experience of working with the Multi-Disciplinary team
- Clinical supervision experience
- Knowledge of the clinical governance agenda
