Prehabilitation Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Prehabilitation Therapist to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a patient-centred and evidence-based therapy service to individuals with diverse, chronic and complex presentations due to their cancer diagnosis and/or treatment.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, and significant postgraduate experience preferably within cancer, neurology and/or medicine. They will also have experience of integrated therapy team and MDT working, evidence of involvement in service improvement, and implementation and adherence to Chartered Society of Physiotherapy or Royal College of Occupational Therapists Standards/Guidelines.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced clinical reasoning and analytical skills, flexibility and ability to respond well to change, and ability to influence, teach and motivate others. They will also have experience of supervising staff and/or students, including formal supervision and appraisal, and be able to demonstrate skills in the assessment and treatment of oncology patients.

What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary, a High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,314 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata, and a range of benefits including a pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
