About the Role

As a skilled and detail-oriented Private Administrator and Typist, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective bookings administrative service to our independent healthcare organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

This role requires someone who can multitask, work independently, and as part of a team, with a strong ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. You will have experience in a busy office or customer care environment, with knowledge of administration procedures and confidentiality protocols.

The salary for this role is approximately £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide an efficient and effective bookings service, prioritising workload in accordance with business need.
  • Manage room openings and cancellations, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, including patients, medical secretaries, and operational managers.
  • Cordinate with private GPs and consultants to book appointments and send clinic lists.
  • Send diagnostic reports within 48 hours and deal with critical findings accordingly.
  • Monitor private email accounts and respond to referrals and queries promptly.
