Construction Site Supervisor

Pertemps TM is currently collaborating with a leading Global Construction and Civil Engineering Tier 1 Main Contractor to identify top-tier talent in the Civil Engineering sector.

This esteemed organization is recognized for its proficiency in construction, actively engaged in some of the most significant projects across the UK, including major initiatives in the realm of infrastructure.

Due to ongoing success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Construction Site Supervisor to join the Southwest division, overseeing various projects such as earthworks, concrete, and drainage works for local authorities.

As the Construction Site Supervisor, you will assist the Project Manager by supervising and managing the project, monitoring progress, and ensuring that all construction activities align with the client's specifications and requirements. You will also play a vital role in client communication, providing updates on project timelines and addressing any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure that work is completed in accordance with the project specifications
  • Accurately record labor, equipment, and materials
  • Contribute to the preparation of project schedules
  • Plan and procure materials and equipment to meet project timelines
  • Maintain daily records of work performed
  • Ensure that construction activities proceed according to site schedules
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements while collaborating with other departments


Candidate Requirements:
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
  • Relevant industry qualifications
  • Proven experience in civil engineering, particularly in heavy civil works
  • Experience managing large-scale Civil Engineering projects
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
