Construction Site Supervisor

Pertemps TM is currently collaborating with a leading Global Construction and Civil Engineering Tier 1 Main Contractor to identify top talent in the Civil Engineering sector.

This organization is well-regarded for its proficiency in construction, actively involved in some of the most significant projects across the UK, including major initiatives.

Due to ongoing success, an opportunity has arisen for a Construction Site Supervisor to join the Southwest team to manage various projects, including earthworks, concrete, and drainage works for local authorities.

As the Construction Site Supervisor, you will assist the Project Manager by overseeing and supervising the project, monitoring its progress, and ensuring that construction activities align with the client's specifications and requirements. You will also play a crucial role in client communication, providing updates on the project timeline and addressing any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure that work is completed according to specifications
  • Accurately record labor, equipment, and materials
  • Contribute to the preparation of project schedules
  • Plan and procure materials and equipment to meet project timelines
  • Maintain daily records of work performed
  • Ensure that work progresses in accordance with site schedules
  • Ensure compliance with contracts while collaborating with other departments


Required Qualifications:
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
  • Relevant industry qualifications
  • Proven experience in civil engineering, particularly in heavy civil works
  • Experience managing large-scale Civil Engineering projects
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
