Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced College Facilities Coordinator to join our Estates team.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep of college buildings, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.

You will perform routine tasks such as cleaning, repairs, and minor maintenance, and assist in implementing new procedures and systems to improve efficiency of the Estates service.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to staff training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure all college buildings are maintained to a high standard.
  2. Perform daily checks to identify any maintenance issues.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to implement new procedures and systems.
  4. Develop and deliver training programs for staff.
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field (such as facilities management or construction) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, fire alarm, and emergency light testing, and record keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Estimated Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per year. Pay rate may vary based on location and experience.
