Job Summary:

Halcyon Health & Social Care is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare and protection of children and young people in their care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To promote the well-being and safety of children and young people, and ensure they are protected from harm.
  • To manage and supervise a team of Children's Support Workers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
  • To ensure regulatory compliance with relevant legislation and organizational policies, creating a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people.
  • To provide a responsive service, using appropriate methods of assessment and intervention within statutory and company requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience working in a children's home within the last five years.
  • At least one year of experience in a supervisory or management role in a children's home.
  • Experience of direct work with individuals who have moderate to severe learning disabilities, and/or autistic spectrum conditions, significant physical impairment, and/or complex health needs.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent, or willingness to commence within three months of appointment.
