Children's Home Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to join our team at Halcyon Care North West. As a leading provider of high-quality children's care, we are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children with physical disabilities, complex health needs, and learning disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Conditions.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure the welfare and protection of children and young people, promoting their well-being and safety.
- Manage and supervise a team of Children's Support Workers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
- Ensure regulatory compliance under the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Framework for Inspection, maintaining a safe and positive environment for children and young people.
- Provide a responsive service using appropriate methods of assessment and intervention, meeting statutory and company requirements.
- At least two years of experience working in a children's home within the last five years.
- At least one year of experience in a supervisory or management role in a children's home.
- Experience of direct work with people who have moderate to severe learning disabilities, and/or autistic spectrum conditions, significant physical impairment, and/or complex health needs.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent, or willingness to commence within three months of appointment.
- Competitive salary of £43,000 per annum, increasing to £50,000 upon completion of probationary period and relevant Level 5 qualification.
