We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Customer Account Manager to join our team at Ideal Recruit Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring the efficient and effective management of their transport requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their transport needs are met and exceeded.
- Oversee the daily transport volume needs of assigned clients, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Coordinate with Distribution Centers and subcontractors to arrange and confirm delivery schedules.
- Process invoices and address any discrepancies or queries promptly.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues via telephone, email, and other communication channels.
- Work closely with the wider transport team to maintain high standards of operational performance.
- Identify and manage any issues or queries that arise, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within transport.
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and supporting client needs.
- Practical knowledge of TMS, including STO and Order Management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
