About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient transport services to our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities
  • Assist patients with challenging behavior and/or mental health illnesses
  • Ensure the ambulance is kept safe, clean, and tidy
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their relatives/friends

Requirements

  • Committed to patient care
  • Effective communicator and experience of communicating with others in emotional circumstances
  • Calm, considerate, and careful driver with no more than three penalty points on your license
  • Natural flair for team working and collaboration
  • Physically fit for patient handling and moving
  • Pass an Enhanced DBS check (company funded)
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
