Job Summary: Sellick Partnership Limited - Public Sector is seeking an experienced Contracts Lawyer to join its team. As a key member of the shared legal services team, you will provide legal support and advice to local authority clients on procurement matters.

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled lawyer with 3+ years' experience dealing with procurement and contract law. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Public Contract Regulations and experience in drafting contracts and associated documents. You will work closely with local authority clients to progress and complete procurement processes, including preparing draft terms and conditions and addressing issues arising from tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal support and advice to local authority clients on procurement matters.
  • Draft contracts and associated documents for local authority clients.
  • Assist local authority clients in establishing companies and providing company secretarial support.
  • Advise on general corporate issues for local authority trading companies.

Benefits: This role offers a competitive salary of £43,000 - £56,750 per annum, plus benefits including flexible working arrangements, 1:1 paralegal support, and access to ongoing CPD training. We also offer a generous annual leave entitlement of 25 days, plus public holidays.
