Job Description

The Financial Services Specialist will play a critical role in managing intra-day liquidity usage by utilizing the Bank of England Liquidity Savings Mechanism. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing intra-day liquidity usage and facilitating settlement while minimizing usage.
  • Determining the drivers of GBP intraday liquidity usage and compiling monthly reporting for senior management.
  • Crest positions within each PID, ensuring accurate funding transfers and re-balancing nostros without unnecessary closing balances.
  • Proactively monitoring intraday transactional settlement across London, Luxembourg, and NTGS, taking remedial action to mitigate settlement risk.
  • Working closely with the EMEA Treasury, Credit, and external custodian/sub-custodians to manage risk.
  • Compiling Profit & Loss reporting, analyzing deltas, and providing commentary to management and Finance.

Requirements:

  • Competency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Global Custody and/or related Securities Industry Cash processing.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
