Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a highly regarded school in Horsham. The successful candidate will provide tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in both one-on-one and group settings, ensuring individual learning plans are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to students with SEN in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify lessons and activities to meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
  • Support the development of social and communication skills, helping students to interact positively with peers and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, providing regular feedback to teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with a wide range of additional needs.
  • Local to Horsham or willing to commute.
  • Adaptable in facilitating the progress of children with diverse circumstances.
  • Passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential.
