Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a highly regarded school in Horsham. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students in both one-on-one and group settings, assisting in areas of specific SEN provision.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify lessons and activities to meet the diverse needs of students, promoting an inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the development of social and academic skills, helping students to interact positively with peers and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, providing regular feedback to teachers, coordinators, and parents.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children in an academic environment.
  • Local to Horsham or willing to commute.
  • Adaptable in facilitating the progress of children's learning.
  • Passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential.
