We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Prison Peer Mentor Coordinator to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our HMP Five Wells Resettlement Service, you will play a vital role in facilitating recovery, reinforcing hope, and supporting lifestyle change with prisoners engaging with our service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise peer mentors/volunteers to ensure effective delivery of our services.
  • Develop and deliver training packages or group work programmes to support the development of our peer mentors.
  • Lead on project development, auditing, and evaluation to inform service development.
  • Work effectively with external agencies to ensure seamless delivery of our services.
  • Recruit, train, and induct peer mentors and volunteers to support offenders in the community.
  • Deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of our service users.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of managing and supervising peer mentors/volunteers.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to develop and deliver training packages or group work programmes.
  • Experience of working within substance misuse or criminal justice services.
  • Understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services.
  • Ability to work effectively with external agencies.
  • Knowledge of the issues facing substance misusers and offenders, their families, and carers.
  • Demonstrable administrative and IT skills.
