Funeral & Memorial Consultant

We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Funeral & Memorial Consultant to join our End-of-Life Services team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional end-of-life care, support, and client experience through the arrangement and delivery of funerals, memorialisation, and aftercare services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide empathetic support to clients as they navigate the funeral and memorialisation process, ensuring their individual wishes are respected and honoured.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure seamless funeral arrangements, memorialisation orders, and aftercare services.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, statutory legislation, and industry regulations, providing assurance to our clients.
  • Conduct daily checks to ensure the correct care of the deceased and facilitate Reflection Room visits for families.
  • Participate in community engagement initiatives, promoting the End-of-Life Services / Southern Co-op brand and building relationships with local communities.
Requirements:
  • IT literacy and proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of understanding, empathy, and compassion
