Funeral Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Funeral & Memorial Consultant to join our End of Life Services team at Southern Co-op. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional end-of-life care, support, and client experience through the arrangement and delivery of funerals, memorialisation, and aftercare services.

• Deliver high-quality funeral and memorial services that meet the needs and expectations of our clients and their families.
• Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their individual wishes and preferences to create a unique and meaningful tribute to their loved ones.
• Work closely with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of funeral and memorial services.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies, statutory legislation, and industry regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• IT literacy and proficiency in MS Office, with the ability to learn new systems and software.
• High level of empathy and compassion, with the ability to work with clients and families during a difficult time.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
