As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of construction projects. You will help ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of construction work on-site.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs and progress reports.
- Support the Site Manager in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work is completed to the required standards.
- Address any issues or delays that arise during construction and report them to the Site Manager.
- Assist in ensuring that all site activities comply with company policies and procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive and problem-solving attitude with strong attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications such as a CSCS card, SMSTS, or equivalent are required.
