Hydrock, a leading civil and structural engineering firm, is seeking a talented Graduate Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Plymouth. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering sustainable projects that shape the built environment and contribute to the well-being of our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical skills through complex projects and collaborative team work
  • Prepare reports, provide advice, and guide clients and project teams
  • Liaise with internal and external team members, develop relationships, and enhance people skills
  • Manage workload to meet project deadlines and engage with the wider C&S division
  • Attend meetings, take minutes, and distribute actions, and contribute to project team discussions
  • Undertake site inspections and walkovers, and develop commercial awareness through proposal preparation

Requirements:

  • Desirable attributes: sustainable urban drainage knowledge, digital engineering skills, additional languages, relevant industry experience, and software tool proficiency
