Account Director - Planning Lead

Starcom

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and strategy for One Publicis Primark, serving as the primary point of contact for Primark's Digital Team. You will be responsible for shaping and driving forward the strategic visions of Primark and the agency, ensuring the day-to-day operations run smoothly while also supporting the Business Director in driving growth.

  • Lead a team of account managers and support an account executive, fostering a culture of learning and self-improvement.
  • Continuously innovate and make Brave Plays to drive growth, leading high-quality day-to-day output of the team.
  • Support the Business Director in delivering outstanding work every time.
  • Be a subject matter expert in your field and deliver operational excellence across the team, including accurate forecasting, invoicing, and timely timesheet completion.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll have significant experience in a client-facing comms planning role, specifically performance-led digital activity, with experience in managing multiple planning projects and stakeholders at one time in a fast-paced account. You'll need tight project leadership skills, including driving accuracy, organization, and collaboration from your team.

  • Manage a small team or individual, ensuring all outputs from them are of a high-quality standard.
  • Ability to work within and contribute to an integrated agency team across media and data.
  • Experience using and interpreting insight tools for planning.
  • Strong grasp of the communications planning process and an understanding of how digital channels can work alongside other media.
  • Proven knowledge of digital planning, buying, and analytical evaluation processes with the ability to conceive and develop quality, well-conceived and successful media plans.
