We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Care Assistant to join our team at the Royal Mencap Society in Camberley. The successful candidate will support individuals with diverse needs and interests, promoting their independence and well-being.
About the Position- Provide exceptional support to help individuals live comfortably, with dignity, and happiness.
- Support community and social inclusion: accessing local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
Responsibilities:
- Excellent communication and relationship building: understanding the world and promoting positive relationships.
- Assist individuals with daily routines, including medication, bathing, and using the bathroom.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships, and work flexibly across shifts.
Benefits and Compensation:
$62 for sleep-ins, 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time) + pension and holiday buying options.
