Key Responsibilities:- Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage patient records, including updating demographic information, medical history, and treatment plans.
- Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and manage correspondence.
- Process patient payments, handle billing and insurance inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Coordinate appointments, procedures, and tests, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient charts, medical records, and administrative documents.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other staff members, to ensure seamless communication and care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, suggesting ways to enhance patient satisfaction, safety, and outcomes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a medical or administrative setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management software.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
