Job Title: Retail Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our Consumer Products division, you will be responsible for managing major UK retail accounts across all licensed categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with major UK retailers through robust insight-led joint business planning and implementation.
  • Support the Senior Retail Licensing Manager in identifying and executing tactical opportunities outside of key retail accounts to maximise business revenues.
  • Pitch franchise campaigns, corporate marketing initiatives, and specific category priorities to buying and broader senior retail teams.
  • Conduct regular retailer/buyer meetings to ensure brand growth with each retailer.
  • Cultivate external relationships with Licensee NAMs and buying teams to align on key brand objectives, priorities, and focus to ensure delivery of the retailer account plan.
  • Work with the Paramount Retail Analytics team to ensure timely post-campaign analysis and evaluation of retail activity to inform future decision-making and investment priorities.
  • Conduct seasonal store audits and present findings and opportunities back to the wider Consumer Products division.
  • Ensure the CP Retail Planning calendar and other key reporting tools are regularly updated and accurate.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the UK retail industry, managing a major customer in a commercial function is preferable.
  • Proven experience of building strong lasting external relationships with senior management within the retail sector.
  • Confident in creating and delivering presentations to senior management.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to work with autonomy is essential.
  • Commercially minded with strong negotiating skills ideally within a sales role.
  • Comprehensive experience of all relevant Microsoft business software, a solid grasp on new technology, and the importance of social media.
  • Experience developing and delivering account plans is essential.
  • Creative team player, motivated, ambitious.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
