Ribbons & Reeves are excited to announce a new job opportunity for a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Primary School Learning Support assistant. This is a fantastic chance to work in a primary school in Barking & Dagenham, which prides itself on its supportive environment and strong behaviour management practices.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Psychology and experience working with children with special needs. The role involves providing one-to-one support for non-verbal students, assisting with emotional regulation and basic tasks, and encouraging progress and attainment. The successful candidate will work closely with the SEN provision team to ensure effective support.
This is a full-time, term-time only contract with an ASAP start. The salary is estimated at £90-£100 per day, making it a competitive offer in the area. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children with autism and can make a positive impact on their lives.
