Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Urgent Treatment Centre in Watford General Hospital. This role will involve working with patients, assessing their health needs, and using clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer or discharge them.

About the Role
This is a permanent position based at the Urgent Treatment Centre, where you will work alongside other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for carrying out consultations, taking comprehensive patient histories, performing physical examinations, and making diagnoses. You will also have the opportunity to prescribe medication and work from PGDs as required.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out face-to-face consultations with patients, supported by a variable rota covering weekdays, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
• Use your expert knowledge and clinical judgement to identify potential diagnoses and decide on appropriate treatment
• Prescribe medication and work from PGDs as required to support the immediate needs of minor injuries patients
• Provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior clinical staff
