Merco Medical Staffing Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist to lead a dynamic team environment dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with acquired brain injuries. This is a chance to make a real difference in the lives of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage occupational therapy services within a multidisciplinary team using the BIRT Neurobehavioral model.
  • Develop, assess, and implement personalized treatment plans for individuals with complex neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with service users, their families, and other professionals to deliver holistic care, from daily living to leisure activities.
  • Mentor rehabilitation support workers, overseeing task delegation, monitoring, and care plan evaluations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, maintain professional documentation in line with RCOT standards, and contribute to clinical governance and service innovation.
About You

We're looking for a compassionate and driven leader with:

  • Qualifications: Diploma/BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy, registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience: Extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation with a proven ability to manage complex cases.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work autonomously while guiding a team of professionals.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering patient-centred care.
