Job Title: Band 6 Community Specialist Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Community Team as a Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in their own homes, promoting health and independence, and reducing the effects of illness and disability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist physiotherapy services to patients in their own homes, including assessments, treatment, and rehabilitation.
  • Work closely with General Practices, Social Services, and other statutory and non-statutory services to meet the needs of the local population.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote health and independence.
  • Participate in the weekend therapy rota and be available to work flexible hours as required.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality safe and sustainable clinical and operational leadership.

Requirements:
  • MCSP Dip PT / BSc / BSc(Hons) PT / MSc Physiotherapist
  • Registered as a Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professionals Council
  • Non-medical prescriber
  • Leadership and Management training
  • Further qualifications relevant to community practice
