Clinical Fellow in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow to join its esteemed Hepatology and Liver Transplantation Unit. As a senior clinical fellow, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care, fostering a culture of excellence, and contributing to the unit's outstanding reputation for clinical care and research. Main Responsibilities
As a senior clinical fellow, you will be responsible for participating in the full range of daytime activities, including cover of outpatients, exposure to endoscopy lists, management of ward-based Hepatology and Liver Transplant patients, research, audit, and teaching. You will also attend weekly MDTs scheduled in transplantation, viral hepatology, and hepatobiliary malignancies, as well as radiology and pathology meetings. An individualised programme of clinical sessions, research, and audit will be agreed with the successful candidate to meet subspecialist interest and training needs. The post includes a contribution to the out-of-hours rota.

- Possession of MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- GMC Registration
- Membership of relevant Royal College or equivalent
- MRCP or CCST in gastroenterology
- A postgraduate medical degree

- At least 4 years of higher level training in gastroenterology
- Independent (as defined by Jag criteria) upper GI endoscopist
- Independent flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Experience/training in colonoscopy
