Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic dietitian with liver or hepatobiliary surgery experience to join our busy acute setting. As a key member of the team, you will provide dietetic input to the Hepatobiliary (HPB) inpatient and Liver Unit, working closely with other dietitians to deliver an exceptional service.

Main Duties
  • Provide inpatient post-surgical nutritional support for pancreatic and liver surgeries, general hepatology, complex patient management, MDT working, liver transplant assessments, and post-liver transplant reviews.
  • Be responsible for hepatology and HPB outpatient clinics, with opportunities to gain insight into other areas of dietetics.

Requirements
  • HCPC registered (Dietitian).
  • Considerable post-graduate dietetic experience in the hospital setting.
  • Experience with enteral nutrition support and provision, clinical audit, multidisciplinary team working, and prioritising workload.
  • Able to reflect and appraise own performance, with experience of Hepatology and/or HPB patients, pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT), and interpreting anthropometric measurements.

Estimated salary: £54,320 - £60,981 per annum, including inner London HCAS.
