Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Acute Medicine Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow to join our team in advanced hepatology and liver transplant services. The successful candidate will be involved in fixed clinical commitments, determined by their clinical training needs and service requirements of the Institute.
The postholder will have the opportunity to participate in the specialist hepatology and endoscopy rota, with Consultant support during on-call periods. They will also contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, exam preparation, and medical research projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Registrar or equivalent training in gastroenterology and/or hepatology (ST 6 level or above)
- BSc or equivalent degree
- Independent upper gastrointestinal endoscopist with experience in managing variceal bleeding
- Previous involvement in research projects and published in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and exam preparation
- Effective communicator and team player
