Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering our programs and services to young people.

Main Responsibilities
  • Community Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with local community groups, schools, and nonprofit organizations to promote our programs and services.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our team to design and deliver engaging programs that address the needs of young people, including mentoring, support, and educational initiatives.
  • Volunteer Management: Assist with the selection, training, and growth of volunteers to ensure they are equipped to support our programs.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and submit required evidence to managers in a timely manner.
  • Team Support: Provide guidance and assistance to junior team members, including onboarding and training.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years of experience working directly with young people, including mentoring, support, and program delivery.
  • Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in youth work or equivalent.
  • Skills: Skilled in building and nurturing relationships, knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices, and personal experience with the challenges faced by the young people we support.
