Job Title: Evening Youth Worker

Salary: £25,571 - £28,957 per annum

This role is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with neurodiverse conditions. As an Evening Youth Worker, you will be responsible for engaging and mentoring young adults aged 18-24 years who are not in education, training or employment.

You will work closely with a caseload of 15 young people at any given time, providing intensive support and guidance to help them develop essential skills and increase their employability. Your expertise and enthusiasm will play a vital role in creating a pathway to employment for these individuals.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 in a subject related to young people. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, colleagues and external partners.

This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week (including evenings and weekends) based in Liverpool. If you are passionate about supporting vulnerable young people and want to make a real difference in your community, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To engage and mentor young adults with neurodiverse conditions
  • To provide intensive support and guidance to help young people develop essential skills
  • To recruit and undertake initial assessments, developing a personalised pathway for each individual
  • To enhance young people's employability and support entry into employment, including post-employment support
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with organisational standards
