About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at HCLTech. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers, resolving complex hardware and software issues, and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Route complex issues to internal teams for further support and resolution.
  • Coordinate with vendors and support staff to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Administer and manage user accounts, ensuring that customers have access to the resources they need.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure that our systems are running smoothly.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to other team members to ensure that our customers receive consistent and high-quality support.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role, with a strong background in hardware and software support.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and ITSM ticketing tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on call via pager during the week.
  • Customer-focused and team-oriented, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional service.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MCP/MSCE/MSCA or HDI CSS or Cisco certification.
  • ITIL knowledge of V2 or V3, especially on Service Desk, Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field.
