The Opportunity

Nutanix is seeking a skilled Enterprise Account Manager to join the UK Financial Services team. As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling Nutanix's products and solutions through channel partners and interacting directly with customers. You will work closely with a sales engineer to manage the full sales cycle from cold-calling and prospecting to closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for a small number of existing and new business accounts across the Tier 1 and 2 Financial Services landscape.
  • Forge new and cultivate existing partner relationships to align go-to-market with Nutanix ecosystem partners.
  • Orchestrate the Nutanix virtual team across end-user engagements.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to discuss business issues with prospects and develop a formal quote, written sales proposal, or formal sales presentation addressing their business needs.
  • Uncover, influence, and respond to RFPs and follow up with prospects.
  • Develop an account plan for Tier 1 accounts to sell to customers based on their business needs.
  • Build and strengthen business relationships with current accounts and new prospects by promoting Nutanix's impact across other Financial Services organizations.
  • Recommend marketing strategies.
  • Provide status information to your manager, including forecast/pipeline information.

Requirements

  • Track record in managing full sales cycle, including prospecting and direct-touch.
  • Passion for new logo acquisition and track record of bringing new clients onboard.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and across functions, including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development.
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems, as well as the competitive landscape.
  • Experience in the Financial Services sector is preferred but not essential.
