About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned commercial leader to join our team as a Business Development Director - UK. As a key member of our UK commercial team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and maximizing commercial opportunities in the UK region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business growth strategy to drive sales and revenue growth in the UK region.
  • Lead a team of business development managers to identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders and internal stakeholders to design and deliver customer-focused and commercially sound solutions.
  • Accountable for the UK sales funnel and ensuring a pipeline of opportunities to meet commercial goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and revenue.

Requirements

  • Senior level management and leadership experience in a contract logistics/supply chain environment.
  • Track record of delivering commercial success on a relevant scale to Lineage (multi-national environment, +100m turnover business).
  • Responsibility for sales growth in a growing company.
  • Experience leading teams in a professional sales setting, including sales force implementation and proposal development.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels.
