**Job Title:** Lead Homelessness Specialist

**Location:** London, United Kingdom

**Assignment:** 2-3 months, with the possibility of rolling on a monthly basis

**Rota:** Monday to Friday - 09:00-17:00

**Estimated Salary:** £20.12 + holiday pay or £22.50 via umbrella per hour

The Morgan Hunt Ltd company is looking for an experienced professional to join their team as a Lead Homelessness Specialist in London. This role involves working at a 28-bed assessment hub, supporting clients in finding longer-term accommodation within a 28-day period.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  1. Improving service effectiveness and ensuring high-quality outcomes for service users or internal customers.
  2. Maximising the contribution of all workers (paid and unpaid) to the overall effectiveness of the service.
  3. Supporting staff, trainees, students, and volunteers, including addressing problematic standards of performance or conduct in accordance with service procedures.
  4. Providing support to project and support workers, including key-work, case recording, face-to-face work, group work, advice giving, advocacy, and other interpersonal tasks.
  5. Sharing responsibility for operational management with another lead worker and the service manager.
  6. Achieving, monitoring, and contributing to the review of performance targets and standards for the team.
  7. Providing timely and accurate information, reports, and analysis to the Lead Manager and Area Manager.
  8. Promoting best practice, including person-centred support planning and effective casework management.
  9. Maintaining good working relationships with other teams as appropriate.
  10. Representing the service at external meetings as required.

Please note that dogs are allowed in the service, but it is a no-smoking environment.
