Job Opportunity at Campden BRI

Campden BRI is seeking a highly skilled Food Science graduate to join our Food & Drink Science Team. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the development of innovative food and beverage products by analyzing the rheological properties of raw materials, intermediate products, and final products.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Scientist to design and execute laboratory-based analysis using advanced instruments such as X-ray micro-CT, rheometer, texture analyzer, DSC, and viscosity meter. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and undertaking work on behalf of clients
  • Performing tasks related to quality procedures, including equipment calibration and document reviews
  • Writing reports for contract and research projects
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Contributing to idea generation for food and beverage science and research
  • Assisting in the delivery of training courses

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Requirements
  • A degree in food science, chemistry, physics, forensic science, chemical engineering, material science, or a related field
  • Experience working in a laboratory environment (preferably)
  • Strong communication skills and a keen attitude to learn and develop
  • Experience in data analysis and familiarity with statistical analysis techniques (advantageous)
