Job Title: Food Research Scientist II

ASR Group, the world's largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar, is seeking a highly skilled Food Research Scientist II to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and developing new products that meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development of new food products, including formulation, testing, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategies for product innovation.
  • Develop and execute experiments to gather data and inform product development decisions.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Lead and direct the work of other scientists to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical and physical testing methodologies, including moisture, color, rheology, and spectroscopy.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management and leadership, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
