Community Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to older adults with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions for older adults with mental health problems, using evidence-based, client-centered principles.
- Provide support and advice to carers, respecting individuality, values, culture, and religious diversity.
- Participate in the duty rota and contribute to the development of nursing practice in the team.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to develop clear care pathways for older adults with mental health problems.
- Support student placements and contribute to the development of nursing practice in the team.
- A competitive salary and benefits package, including 36% pay enhancements for evenings and Saturdays, and 72% for Sundays and bank holidays.
- 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 29 after 5 years and 33 after 10 years.
